Happy 4th of July

Last night we drove out to Disney to the Polynesian Resort to watch the fireworks. Unfortunately we left a little to late and we were in the car (on Disney property though) when the fireworks went off. We rolled down  the windows though and Bella pointed out the window. We went with cousin Mike and his girlfriend, Brooke and her daughter Mia. Mia and Bella play so well together so we decided to go walk around the resort and we got some of  the world famous Dole-whip ice cream. I had never heard of this stuff before but someone told Brooke about it and we Googled  it. It appears there are only 4 places in the US to get this stuff. There was a long line when we got there and the man in front of us says that he lives in Orlando but comes and stays at the resort once a year just to get Dole-whip. The best way to explain it was soft serve pineapple ice cream.

Moo

Today we went to Mr. Jay's to see his cows. Mr. Jay works with me at the Sheriff's Office and lives on 100 acres and breeds cattle out in Geneva. We went along with my supervisor Dena, another supervisor Nancy and her 2 girls, Alexandra and Samantha. Bella had a lot of fun and even MOOed for the first time.

We started out by feeding the baby cows right next to his house.
Then we all jumped in Mr. Jay's truck and drove out on the property to visit the other cows up close and personal

This was a brand new calf born just last Thursday with her mommy

Mr. Jay also has a garden and had some really big sunflowers. He sent Bella home with a souvenir. The flower was bigger than her head and that wasn't even the biggest one he had.

Mr. Jay planted corn seeds in April and look how much they have already grown. He picked the first few ears today and sent us home with some. Needless to say we had some corn for dinner and it was delicious

10 years

So I finally decided to attend my 10 year reunion and I'm glad I did. I had a really good time. Joe and I arrived late Friday night at my parents house and the reunion was Saturday evening. My parents babysat Bella for us so we took advantage and went to dinner together first and made a night out of it. For the the first time in a long time, I also got to spend Father's Day weekend with my dad, although he worked the actual holiday. We went to breakfast Saturday morning, spent the afternoon in the pool and opened gifts. I will post some of those pics later.

All ready to go

Bella had just woke up from her nap and I was trying on dresses and shoes to wear to my 10 year reunion and she decided she wanted to try some shoes on too

Playing House

Grandma and Grandpa's neighbors were getting rid of this house and they scooped it up for Bella. While my mom was in town we cleaned it all up and put it together. That was the easy part. The hard part was trying to figure out where to put it. We decided to put it in her room but doing so was a challenge. We had to rearrange the entire room to get it to fit. It was worth all the hard work though because she loves it.

Is there someone out there?
 peek-a-boo, I see you
 Hello! Come on in

Pet Store

Bella's new thing is dogs. She loves dogs!! Everytime she see a picture of one, one on the TV, or one in real life, she goes crazy. She barks when she sees one and when asked she can even say the word "dog".

Yesterday when Nana and Papa were here they decided to take her to the pet store. She loved it. She started barking and pointing at all the dogs.

she even liked the birds
