Pottery Painting

Last week we headed to Volusia County and did some pottery painting with some people from work.

 we decided to paint a spoon rest since daddy broke ours

 she insisted on painting it purple (her new favorite color) for the record, nothing in the house is purple

 if you zoom in on this picture you can see that she decided to add this teal color as well. We get to pick it up in 2 weeks and I have a feeling that it will be the most beautiful spoon rest ever and Bed Bath and Beyond will be knocking on our door to get her designs.

Beach 2012

Last summer we took Bella to the Fort Lauderdale Beach in the evening for a little sneak peek at the beach. Yesterday we took her for her first real beach day. We packed our bags, coolers and toys and headed out to Cocoa Beach. She was so excited to go!

Last weekend we traveled down south and Bells got to go to the splash park and play with her cousins.

Butterflies

Yesterday we checked out the butterfly encounter at Lukas Nursery. Every time we drive by it and Bella sees the big butterflies she gets so excited and we always tell her that one day we would go. Well the day finally came.

 there is a refueling station where you can put nectar on you fingers and they will sit on your finger and drink the nectar. We thought Bella would love this but she was actually afraid of them

Lego Party

Nicole hosted a houseparty.com party for Duplo advertising to their new product, Duplo Read and Build. Of course I made some Lego themed decorations and I really enjoyed making them. Who doesn't like Legos! The kids had fun too!

The girly's!!

We have been hanging out with The Maybin's quite often these last couple months and Bella has really enjoyed playing with "the girly's" as she calls them.

Ice cream sandwich

Bella ate her first ice cream sandwich at her grandma and grandpa's house last week. Great Gram is the one who gave it to her and she really enjoyed it at first but then she saw how dirty it made her fingers and Bella doesn't like dirty hands.
