Carrie Underwood

I can't believe I never posted about meeting Carrie Underwood. She is one of my favorites and this past December I had the opportunity to attend her Blown Away concert and meet her back stage. My friend Jenny's sister, Julie, works for Simon Fuller at XIX records. Thanks to her one of my dreams came true.

What we have been up to

 

Lately we have been laying low and hanging out at home a lot.

 

 Bella had her first dentist appointment January 15th. It well at first and then she freaked out when the lady wanted to put her chair back. The dentist was able to check out her teeth though and reported that we were right on track.

 We went to Ella and Aubrey's, "American Girl" themed party and Bella received a manicure and pedicure from one of the older girls

 

we tried out our new skates we got for Christmas

 

Aunt Joan and Uncle Stan came to visit and we hung out with them and grabbed dinner a few times

 She is also getting better at peddling her bike

 

who doesn't like visiting Target and trying on things

 

we went to a bon fire and we wore our matching boots

 

The fire department hosted a "honor the badge" ceremony where Bella got a princess crown made of balloons. She loved it!

 

This pretty much sums up our last 2-3 weeks

Happy 3rd Birthday Bella

We celebrated Bella's birthday on Sunday, January 6th. We had a western themed party, complete with pony rides. 

Here was the desert table with awesome s'mores and red velvet cupcakes (made by cousin Renee)

Our special guests were named Caesar and Faith. Bella absolutely loved riding the ponies and took turns riding both of them

DiTore's Take on Disney

Rich and Lindsay have been in town for the holidays and they got us all tickets to Disney through Rich's work. The last time we all went together was when Clark was about 1 year old and therefore before all the other grandkids. It was a great day, with beautiful weather, until the very end when it started to rain.

Christmas Jingles

Christmas Cookies

We usually make Christmas cookies with grandma and great gram every year, but this year we never got around to it. So instead we made cookies tonight with Nana and Aunt T. Bella loved rolling the dough and pressing the cookie cutters down.

Great Weekend

This past weekend we went down south for some early Christmas festivities. 

We started at Bass Pro Shop and said hey to his reindeer

 tried to drive the sleigh

headed to the workshop

 and sat on Jolly old St. Nick's lap

we had breakfast with Santa at Brio's for the second year in a row 

we also took in some beautiful light displays

and we ended the weekend by going to Brandon's Christmas Pageant
