Birthday/Wedding

So yesterday, 1/24/09 was my 26th birthday and we celebrated it by attending our friend, Leah Maybin's wedding. The day was wonderful from the ceremony, to the beautiful reception, to the good tasting food and drinks. Leah was gorgeous as well.

Anne was one of the bridesmaids

Ellla was a flower girl and ran down the isle just like she did at our wedding and once she saw her brother Tyler, she started yelling his name and ran towards him. Tyler was sitting right behind us

Ella eating dessert. She ate 2 eclairs filled with ice cream and wedding cake. I'm shocked she didn't get sick with all the dancing she did.

Clark Obama

I totally stole this picture from the St. Louis DiTores blog. They took Clark to a place called Magic House in which they had this cool Oval Office setup for him to play president. He looks good in that chair.

Swiss Fondue

One of the places Joe and I visited on our Honeymoon was Switzerland. Switzerland is known for their cheese and fondue. While we were there our lovely hosts, Chris and Helen Zeltner sent us home with some real Swiss Fondue cheese to fix in our melting pot. My parents were in town this weekend to celebrate my birthday since I will be busy next weekend at a wedding and we decided to share the fondue with them. We served it with broccoli, french bread, apples, and potatoes. It was amazing.

Regis & Kelly

For Tiffany's graduation gift from college mom and dad took her to New York City. While they were in the Big Apple they waited in line for the Regis and Kelly Show and they actually got in. They not only got in but they were also seen on TV. If you look at the picture below you can see Tiffany and Mom at the top of the TV screen and dad is half cut off on the left side below Tiffany.

Clark Fix

Well I was missing Clark and needed a fix so I thought I would share this video with everyone. This video is Clark playing with his Uncle Joe on News Years Eve, our last night with him before he went back home to St. Louis.

Happy Birthday Ella

Today we helped celebrate Ella's 3rd birthday. See post below for more details on the celebrating.

Chuck E Cheese

Today was Ella's 3rd birthday and we celebrated at Chuck E Cheese. We had pizza and cake and played lots of games. The big boys had more fun than the children did I think. Its been a couple weeks since we've seen the girls. We don't get to see them everyday anymore since they have moved away and it was so good to see them again. We really miss them.

Happy New Year!

So I'm a little behind on this one but, last Wednesday, which was New Years Eve, we celebrated by going out to dinner at Giovanni's, a local italian joint in Oviedo. The DiTore's and the Hernandez's went. Then we headed back to the DiTore's and watched the ball drop.

Goodbye Clark

We had to say goodbye to Clark, Rich, and Lindsay last night after the ball dropped. They left this morning to go back to St. Louis. We had so much fun with them while they were here. We shopped, went to Disney, enjoyed the water at Blizzard Beach, had sleep overs, enjoyed some good food, and lots of ice cream! We will miss having them here. I took some video of our last couple hours with Clark. I will post them every now and then for a Clark fix until we get to see him again.
