My little Indian

This past Wednesday Bella had her thanksgiving party at school. The kids entered the classroom dressed like Indians and sang songs about turkeys. They were all so cute and did a great job. Afterwards we enjoyed cookies, pie and juice. The kids were quite hyper after all their sweet snacks. 

Fire Safety

Last week Joe went and gave a brief fire safety lesson to Bella's school. The kids learned about smoke detectors, not to be afraid of fire fighters and to crawl towards them in a fire. The kids really loved it and I think the teachers did too. 

Elmo, Pumpkin Patch and Halloween

 A few weeks ago now we went to our neighbor's house for Honor's 1st Birthday Party. Bella had lots of fun and made lots of new friends. Elmo also made an appearance and Bella got both her arms painted with butterflies and stars

Each class at Bella's school was responsible for making a class scarecrow for their pumpkin patch. The kids all brought in their clothing and helped stuffed the little guy. 

He was a little top heavy :) 

The following class day the scarecrows made their way to the school's pumpkin patch where the kiddos enjoyed a hay ride around the school and completed 9 different activity centers.
