Gatorland

Joe and I went to Gatorland today. For those who don't know what gatorland is...I guess you can call it a gator zoo. The park is known for its alligators but they also have crocs, a petting zoo, snakes, birds, a train ride, a splash park for the kids, and shows. There are hundreds of alligators at the park. In the breeding marsh alone, there are 100 females and 30 males (lucky males huh?). And yes we did see some gators getting it on :) Currently the park is also housing 4 albino alligators for a short time from Louisiana. Overall we had alot of fun and recommend everyone check it out. Joe was brave a wrestled a gator (don't worry moms, he isn't real)

On of the shows is feeding time when they dangle chickens out over the water and the gators jump for them

He's a natural

Joe met Drew for the first time last week and he was a natural. Drew loved being in his arms and slept so peacefully. He'll be a great father some day. Nicole also asked me to be the godmother and I gladly accepted the position :)

Look how cute my godson is :)

Happy Easter!

Who says grown-ups can't have fun! I'm at work today on Easter Sunday and we all decided to bring something in for an easter breakfast. One woman even had her husband come in and he prepared the eggs, bacon and sausage for us on electric griddles. After breakfast we had an easter egg hunt. One woman brought in baskets for all of us to use for collecting the eggs. It was pretty funny seeing all these adults run up and down the hallways looking for eggs. The eggs had either a scratch-off ticket, candy, or a note saying to collect a prize from the supervisor in them. I only found 3 eggs. I got candy in one and the other 2 were prizes from the supervisor which were Bath and Body Works lotions. Although we had fun this morning, we are very short staffed because we have one person off, and I'm still on light duty and surprisingly we are busy.

Easter Breakfast...eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit, muffins, and fried apples (yummy!)

Andrew Scott Baker Jr.

Nicole went into labor this morning and baby Drew was born this afternoon. It happened really quick and she had a real easy labor. Her water broke this morning around 8:30. She was at the hospital by 10:30 and Drew was born around 1:30pm. She had no epidural and only pushed 3 times. Way to go Nicole!! Take a look at the new bundle of joy below...
