Skating Queen

Last night we tried something new and totally random. We took Bella ice skating with our neighbor friends. She has never been before and doesn't particularly care for rolling skating so she said she wasn't going to try it and we didn't force her. As soon as we arrived at the rink though she was ready to go. She kept asking for her skates. She stood right up on them and off she went. She did very good for her first time.

she didn't even mind falling

Zeltner's

Our friend's from Switzerland came to visit again. This time Bella and I traveled down south to see them. My mom made dinner for them and we all caught up. Bella got some new color pencils to draw with and Joe and I got some yummy chocolate!

Happy Heart Day

This year for Valentine's Day Bella got to write out her own cards for her classmates and friends at school. She seemed to really enjoy doing it and was quite excited to pass them out. We assembled a little mailbox to put the cards she received from her friends in.

Dancing girl

I bought a Groupon for dance classes for Bells to see how she would like it. When we first got there she wanted nothing to do with it and would not leave my side. More than half way through class she started coming out of her shell and joined in for the tumbling part of the class.

She is taking a combo class that includes ballet, jazz and tumbling, with a free style section at the end which she quite liked. After the first class was over she loved it and didn't want to leave. All the big girls thought she was so cute and loved the fact that she walked on her tip toes.

Winter Wonderland

Bella's school hosted a winter wonderland for the children where they got to wear all their winter clothes and they had fun winter related activities for the day. It was actually cold that day which was good because usually they have to pretend its cold outside. Grandma and Grandpa also went up to the school that day to volunteer for the festivities. They helped the children make snowmen cookies.

Its-a-Pizza Party!

For Bella's 4th birthday this year we celebrated with a pizza party. I had a set up for each kid that attended with their own pan, rolling pin, dough, sauce, and toppings. Kids got to wear chef hats and aprons and even got to enjoy their masterpieces afterwards. The kids really seemed to enjoy it.
