Slide

Bella's new favorite toy at this moment is the slide that Nana and Papa got her. Every morning the first thing she asks for now is to go outside and since we live in Florida where its been 70-80 degrees in February, we can do that!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful day. This year we did it simple. Bella and I made some homemade crafts yesterday for Daddy, Joe got me some roses and  a beautiful card, and we made dinner together tonight.

Bella was so proud of her card
 she loved decorating it
this was my project... The heart that Bella is holding says, "I love you more than..."
then when Joe opened the box there were special cookies to help fill in the blank
thanks to Pinterest for all our projects
For dinner Joe made my favorite, Chicken Piccata and I made "Not your ordinary mac and cheese" from J Alexanders. We had tried this when we went for my birthday and it was amazing. I searched high and low for a copycat recipe and finally found it.

This was just as good as the real thing if not better ;)

Carnival

Our friends, the Maybins, had a carnival themed birthday party for the girls, Ella and Aubrey, this past weekend.

Bella loved playing with all the fun dress up stuff
 like a little Harry Potter
she finally decided on this hat and wore it for the entire party

Goodbye Clark and Dexter!!

Clark and Dexter were here for the month of January and Bella got very close to her cousins while they were here. She knows exactly who they are and calls their names all the times. Rich and Lindsay were here too of course. Bella also loved calling for her uncle "witchy". We really enjoyed spending time with them and wished they lived closer.

One of the things we do every time they come to town is visit Downtown Disney. This time the renovations were completed at the Lego store and the kids got to play for a little bit
You can't pass a "Choo Choo" and not go for a ride

Bella always has to take a picture with her favorite, Minnie
The whole reason we even go to Downtown Disney every visit is so the boys can eat at the T-Rex restaurant. They both love dinos but Clark is a real expert and knows all their names

Another ritual we have started are glow stick parties (that's what we call them anyway). We go outside when its dark, light up a bunch of glow sticks, someone throws them all in the air at once and then the kids run after them and pick them up. They love it!! (its the new version of 52 pick up) And then you repeat the above about 50 more times.

Clark is my new snuggle bug. Every night he asked to snuggle with me and wanted me to sing him songs before bed.

We miss you guys!!
