Magic Kingdom

As if we hadn't already been to enough theme parks this month we decided to add one more to the list. We had one Disney pass left that expired this month so we went to Magic Kingdom with Grandma and Grandpa.

This visit we tried some new things that we haven't done before or haven't done in a long time.
This was Enchanted Tales with Belle. We had never done this before and it was an interactive story adventure. I would recommend this to anyone with little girls.

Joe got volunteered to be a marching solider in the story (watch out Belle, I see you checking out my man)

Grandpa bought Bella her first autograph book and she met many people, took photos and collected autographs. Below are a few pics

Seaworld Aquatica

With our Discovery Cove tickets we got free tickets to Seaworld and Seaworld Aquatica. We went to Seaworld May 9th and Aquatica on the 10th. Nana and Papa had to leave us after Seaworld so they missed out on Aquatica.

Discovery Cove

For my dad's 60th birthday (back in December) we bought him a
day at Discovery Cove to go swimming with the dolphins. This is something that he has always wanted to do. We had to wait till it got a little warmer out so we went May 8. It was a beautiful place and we all had so much fun. There was something for everyone. Besides swimming with the dolphins, we snorkeled with sting rays and fish, fed birds in the atrium, and did a lot of eating and drinking (it was all inclusive) .

The week of Mother's Day I was invited to Bella's school for Muffins with Mom

I got this lovely coffee mug with candy in it. All the bugs and little creatures are made from her finger and thumb prints.

New Orleans

April 29-May 3 I traveled to New Orleans for the 19th National Child Abuse and Neglect Conference. New Orleans has always been on my list of places to travel to so when this opportunity came up I couldn't pass it up. I went with another fellow supervisor from work, Nancy. We learned some new stuff and of course made time to see the city and have some fun.

I tried some really good food in NOLA but these were by far the best. Dragos came recommended by many and it just so happen to be in our hotel. They are known for their char-grilled oysters. They were delicious!
