DiTore's Take on Disney

Rich and Lindsay have been in town for the holidays and they got us all tickets to Disney through Rich's work. The last time we all went together was when Clark was about 1 year old and therefore before all the other grandkids. It was a great day, with beautiful weather, until the very end when it started to rain.

Christmas Jingles

Christmas Cookies

We usually make Christmas cookies with grandma and great gram every year, but this year we never got around to it. So instead we made cookies tonight with Nana and Aunt T. Bella loved rolling the dough and pressing the cookie cutters down.

Great Weekend

This past weekend we went down south for some early Christmas festivities. 

We started at Bass Pro Shop and said hey to his reindeer

 tried to drive the sleigh

headed to the workshop

 and sat on Jolly old St. Nick's lap

we had breakfast with Santa at Brio's for the second year in a row 

we also took in some beautiful light displays

and we ended the weekend by going to Brandon's Christmas Pageant  

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

This past weekend we put up our Christmas lights, tree and other decorations. This was the first year that Bella really understood what was happening and was so excited to help out. Aunt T and Uncle Frankie were also in town and they were a big help as well. We also went to Light Up UCF which Bella had been talking about all week because she wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel. The weather was just chilly enough for us floridians and it really felt like winter/Christmas time.

 she also got to see Santa at the mall. He was visiting the ladies at a store nearby his chair and Bella ran up to him so exicted. He carried her all the way back to his chair and then gave her some stickers, coloring book and crayons

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I was on call today for a short while and actually had to go out for a little bit but I'm thankful I didn't have to work all day and I was done in time for dinner. I am thankful that even though I couldn't be home with my family, I have a great "in-law" family that always welcomes me as one of their own. They do so much for us as well when it comes to Bella. Without them we couldn't do it. Thank you guys!

 The Hernandez clan came in town last week from Chicago and while they were here we threw the little guy an early party. Happy 2nd Birthday Johnny!! We had a blast today

2012 Election

This was Bella's first election. Although she didn't come to the polls with us she got mama's sticker. We were driving home and she says to me, "Look ma I'm a pirate". I turned around and this is what I found. :) 

Happy Halloween

Joe had to work Halloween this year so we started the day off by visiting him and the boys at the station. Bella wore her costume and they gave her candy and we took some great photos. 

 Later that night we went trick or treating with some neighbors. This year was by far the best as she was old enough to know what was going on and what to do. She was so excited!! She would run up to each door and say, "Trick or Treat" and then open her bag. Once they put the candy in she would say, "thank you so much". Then she would take off running again. We made it to a lot of houses too before she began to tire out. She started dragging her bag and asking to be held.
