Happy Easter

We had Easter at our house. Everyone came over to include Aunt Linda and Uncle Ed who were in town from Chicago.  We were missing Papa though because he was working.

The night before Bella colored these beautiful eggs

Easter morning she opened her basket the bunny brought and left for her. She got a Frozen t-shirt, a new cup and some other fun stuff

and like last year we had an egg hunt in the back yard

Christian Parade

Bella's school hosted a Christian Parade in which all the kids dressed like biblical figures. Bella insisted on a pink Shepard (i know its to not to realistic but you tell this cute little face no)

Jelly Bean Jog

The church Bella attends for school hosted a Jelly Bean Jog which was like a color run just a shorter version. It was geared towards the Easter holiday and was for the entire family. It was a lot of fun. We ran with our neighbors and Bella's friend, Cam. Afterwards they had hot dogs, chips, drinks and shaved ice for everyone.

Spring Performance

Bella had her first school performance last night. She had been practicing for weeks at school, but she gets so shy we were afraid she wouldn't participate at all when performance day actually came and she saw all the people. The good news is, she stayed on stage, sang a few words here and there and even did some of the gestures. We were so proud of her.

Happy St. Paddy's Day

We were down south this year for St. Patrick's Day. Joe was in Delray Beach marching in the big parade and Bells and I hung out with Nana and Aunt T at Flanigans. Flanigans has a big party each year and there is a contest to see who can wear the most green. Bella was excited to participate!

Pirates and Princesses

Earlier this month we went to see Disney Live, Pirates and Princesses with our neighbors and friends, the Goves. The show included Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. The kids really enjoyed it.

We also met this special princess this month. Her name is Joy and she was adopted from China. She is our friend, Kim's baby girl. We met them at the park and the girls got to play together. Welcome to America Joy!
