Gingerbread Night 2014

One of the things we love about Bella's school is all the extra programs and family involved activities. Gingerbread night being one of them. Each family gets their own house to build and decorate however they want.

Family pics

Uncle Frankie and Aunt T came to visit after Thanksgiving and took some family/maternity photos for us. Bella was not in a very good mood and refused to pose or smile for any pictures. There were lots of tears and yelling at first. After about 2 hours of this she said she was hungry and agreed that if we went and ate she would take pictures after. We took her to get a happy meal and when we returned she was a brand new person. She was all smiles and was even suggesting poses. It was night and day and the pictures turned out great! Here are some of my favorites

Thanksgiving Concert

In VPK they have a thanksgiving concert that they didn't have last year in the preschool class. Bella was terrified of performing in front of people and we had to bribe her with a shopping trip to Toys R Us. She did it though and afterwards she said it wasn't that bad!

Her class was dressed as turkeys

Nursery

Here are some early nursery pics. There is some more work to be done but you get the idea. Brooklyn is taking over what used to be the Yankee room, hence the blue and white stripes. I think it all works though.

Union banquet

Local 3590 had their annual awards banquet. This year Joe and I were completely in charge of it, from finding food to decorating. Of course I took care of the decorating and Joe handled the food. It was catered by Italio's in Winter Park and I choose a Roaring 20's theme. I was about 4 months pregnant as well.

Joe won the Brotherhood award

Wine Bottles I spray painted for center pieces and was letting the candle wax drip down

The other center pieces I made. I collected a bunch of wine bottles and spray painted them black and then sprayed gold glitter. I bought the feathers and pearls online.

Happy Halloween

This year Bella was dressed as Elsa from the Disney movie, Frozen (along with every other little girl). We went trick-or-treating with our neighbors Cam and Jackson.

Aunt T even joined us and dressed like an Indian

Boy or Girl?

Before trick-or-treating this year, our neighbors Heather and Ryan threw us a small gender reveal party. Sadly, Joe was working at the fire station but he skyped in with us

Bella was being shy and wanted no part in helping mommy reveal the balloons

It's a Girl!!

Transportation parade

We have been looking forward to the VPK transportation parade since last year. I asked Bella what she wanted to make and she chose a train. Immediately I started looking online for ways to build it. I also let her pick the colors and of course she picked pink and purple.
