Zip Lining
Joe and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on Tuesday. We decided to do something new and exciting for a change. We went zip lining at Zoom Air at the Sanford Zoo. Besides the zip lines we traveled the trees over logs, through barrels, across rope bridges, nets and suspended disks. We completed 9 zip lines with the biggest being a 500 foot zip line starting at about 50 ft. in the air.

teddy bear
My little sister is getting married one week from today. The Bells and I have been packing and getting ready for our big trip for about a week now. The other day I decided to be one of those parents that puts their kid on a leash. I always said I wouldn't do that but I thought it would make getting around the airport and the busy city easier, plus the little thing is so cute :) Its a teddy bear and Bella loves it. I put it on her the other night just to see if she would wear it and she loved it. I think she liked the idea of leading and me following behind her.
Dexter
Rich and Dex came down on Thursday and left this morning for a quick little visit. While they were here Bella got to play with her cousin Dex everyday. They played so well together and she went everywhere and did everything Dex did. These photos were taken with Joe's phone so the quality isn't that great. I will post some others later that were taken with my camera.

Lake Jesup
Nana and Papa came to visit again last week and babysat while Joe and I worked. Papa put up Bella's swing she got for her birthday from mommy and daddy. Now she has her own swing on our back porch and can swing everyday. What a lucky girl!!
My family was still in town this past Monday when I got off work. We were going to go pick some more strawberries but they are closed on Mondays. Instead we went to Black Hammock, a bar/restaurant/adventure complex on Lake Jesup. Lake Jesup is one of the largest lakes in Central Florida, one of many that make up the St. Johns River. The lake is home to a wide variety of species and is considered to support one of the state's densest populations of alligators. They say this 100,000 year old lake is home to over 9000 alligators.

Pappy's Strawberries
Yesterday we went to Pappy's Strawberry Patch and picked our own strawberries with grandma and grandpa. Bella had alot of fun running down the rows of crops. She knew exactly what to do as well. As soon as we started picking and she saw the first bright, red, strawberry, she bent over and tried to grab it. She also loved squeezing the strawberries and having the juice run everywhere. Needless to say she was just a little messy when we left there. She liked tasting them too and got mad when it was time to leave. After the patch we went home and put our bathing suits on and did yard work. Bella and mommy pulled weeds while daddy mowed the grasss. Bella loved running around and every now and then we would spray her with the hose to cool off.

Bridal Shower
For those who don't know, my sister is getting married 4/5/11 in Las Vegas. We had a bridal shower for her this past weekend and we kept with the Vegas/Casino theme going. We had at the party at Carrabbas (the very first one I worked at). Thanks to everyone who came. It was a great time!
table set up
sorry this isn't a great picture, its was dark inside the restaurant. But this was the favor. Its a drink mix for a cosmopolitan in a cute vegas style package. I also included a scratch off lotto ticket in each package. There were a few winners that day.
