Bella took her first plane ride and went on her first vacation to Las Vegas for Aunt T's wedding this past week. The trip didn't go as well as hoped. The wedding went well and was absolutely beautiful but the rest of the trip wasn't as great.
We started our trip on Saturday traveling from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale via air plane. The plane was 2 hours delayed but we didn't know about it until we got to the airport. So we spent 4 1/2 hours at the airport. Bella had no naps that day and it was past her bed time by the time the plane took off at 11pm. She also had a cold to boot. I even missed my sister's bachelorette party that night because we got in so late.
Then we left Monday morning for Vegas. My whole family was on the flight so I had plenty of help for this 5 hour flight, and boy was it needed. Bella was already behind on sleep and was over tired. The flight left at 6:55am and we had to wake her at 4:45am. She cried just about the entire flight except for about 50 minutes in which she had fallen asleep on my sister's lap. Just about everyone took turns with her and we tried keeping her busy with snacks, DVDs, books, and toys. It seemed like nothing would work.

My parents put on a dinner the night before the wedding (Monday night) so everyone could meet and get to know each other. We had a buffet at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino. It was very nice but again Bella was behind on sleep and cried most of the dinner. Every time someone tried to take her for me so I could eat she would cry and wanted only me. So needless to say I didn't get to enjoy dinner that night.

Wednesday we hung out with the family from out of town and this picture was taken inside the Flamingo Hotel where Tiffany and Frankie got married.

Wednesday we also took Bella to the M&M store and the MGM Hotel to see the lion exhibit. Sorry I have no pics of this. But she enjoyed the lions and would point at them and say "ooo".
Thursday was probably the best day Bella had other than wedding day. She had just been crying so much with not sleeping well and being sick. I'm sure her ears may have been bothering her too because of the change in altitude. We took her down the strip to Circus Circus and she got to watch the circus acts. We also took her to the famous sign where we stood in line to take a photo. This day was very cloudy and windy. Not so fun to be outside.
We also went to the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. They had this awesome butterfly exhibit with real flowers everywhere and bright decorations that Bella loved like a Ferris Wheel, merry go round, and balloons.

I was dreading the flight home by myself since the first flight didn't go so well and she cried most of the trip but she slept the whole way home and was an angel.
