We have been looking forward to the VPK transportation parade since last year. I asked Bella what she wanted to make and she chose a train. Immediately I started looking online for ways to build it. I also let her pick the colors and of course she picked pink and purple.

First Day of VPK
This is our last year of preschool before starting Kindergarten next year. Bella was very excited to get back into the swing of things again. Her teacher is Ms. Cathy and her assistant is Ms. Rhonda
We continued our tradition and went and got ice cream with Cam after a successful first day
Carson City & Tahoe
This July we took our first family vacation to Nevada for a wedding. We also made a trip to Tahoe while we were there. Bella had been on a plane once before when she was only 14 months old (for Aunt T's wedding). Joe was in school then and couldn't go so that makes this our first official family trip. We got to see our family from Rhode Island, along with Nana & Papa and Aunt T, and Annemarie & Auntie Donna who also took the trip.
Bella loved love riding on the plane
we did lots of coloring and puzzles
Besides hanging with lots of family, one of the things we did was take a trip to Virginia City (it was like the old west)
Bella got to go mining for gold and brought home some gems
This was our view from our timeshare in Tahoe (which Joe and I purchased while we were there)
everyone chilling in our living room
Cousin Dominic
Annemarie
Daddy and his girls
The wedding was called "Love Fest". They had built a stage and had live performances. They also had some pretty cool food to resemble food truck food.
Bella blew lots of bubbles that night
Another trip we took was to Heavenly, Tahoe which was in California
We did lunch one day with mom's cousin's-Tommy, Randy and Rob
Beautiful Lake Tahoe
Joe and Bella actually swam in the freezing cold water (I passed since I did it once already as a child)
4th of July
This year Bella and I made some DYI holiday crafts. She loves crafting these days (just like mom).
She colored her own mask and stayed in the lines the best I've seen here do
We forgot to pack it though when we went down south for the parade :(
she also helped make a windsock for outside the house. We cut and tied strips of table cloth to a ring
Joe and I's work schedules allowed us to go down south again this year. We enjoyed the parade in the morning, swimming and BBQing in the afternoon and fireworks at the park at night.
