Castello di Amorosa was our next stop along the Valley. Its a castle which first opened its doors to the public in April 2007. It is the project of Dario Sattui who also owns and operates the
V. Sattui Winery which we also visited. It took 14 years to build this medieval replica castle on the vineyard grounds.
The King and Queen

cute Jack-o-lantern barrels
the church
Joe and the confessional
cellar
more tasting, pinky up
we "borrowed" some grapes
V. Sattui is the other winery I mentioned earlier. Its an Italian winery with a full deli inside and beautiful grounds for enjoying a picnic.
It was voted "Winery of the Year" 2011
cheeses
